Pakoras are delicious Pakistan crispy fried snack made with gram flour (besan), spices, and different veggies. Best veggies to go with this gram flour pakoras are onion, potatoes, spinach. You can add more veggies of your choice. These fried pakoras are addictive, enjoy them with any type of tamarind chutney or mint, yogurt chutney.
You can make these veggie pakoras super quick, to enjoy with tea, as a fried dish for lunch or dinner. Also, it is a perfect snack for kids and adults both.

How to make Veggie Pakoray – Gram flour fritters in Pakistani Style
Take 1 and a half cup of gram flour, also called Besan.
Add 1 cup of water to make thick paste. Don’t make it too runny.
Now add all the spices.
The spices are
Salt to taste ( at least 1/2 tsp)
Red chili powder – 1/2 Tsp
Crushed red pepper – 1 tsp
Dry fenugreek leaves – dry methi 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Crushed Corriander seeds – 1 tsp
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Dry pomegranate seeds – Anar Dana – 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
1/4 tsp of baking soda (optional)
Mix every thing well.
Now add veggies.
The veggies include:
1 Thinly chopped Jalepeno pepper – add less if you it is too hot.
2 tbsp Chopped cilantro
1 cup Chopped spinach (fresh leaves)
One sliced onion (red onion or yellow onion.
1 medium size – potato thinly chopped
Mix everything well and let it sit.
Use a spoon to add blobs of gram flour mixture in hot oil in a frying pan.
make sure oil is not too hot because putting in extremely hot oil or high flame would leave the fritters uncooked from inside. Keep stirring all the fritters in oil and once you reach the right color of your choice. Dish out.
Make sure the fritters are crisy.
Enjoy it with chutney, ketchup or chili sauce.
